Our Proud History
It was 1887... when a hard working businessman by the name of Thomas Adcock set up a small Real Estate office selling land and houses.
Thomas Adcock was a prominent churchman and the driving force behind many community causes and reforms. He had a reputation for being scrupulously honest and fair. It was the foundation on which a family business was to endure. More than 120 years and five generations later, Thomas Adcock's great great grandson Andrew is still in business. Selling land, houses and rural properties. Scrupulously honest and fair.
In 1928, Thomas Adcock's son opened an office in Burnside. Adcock Real Estate is still thriving today. Except it has seen a few changes. Arthur's sons Clarry and Don joined and ultimately ran the firm. They were followed by their own sons Brenton, Peter and Rod and now Brenton's son Andrew is continuing the family tradition with an office in the very popular and peaceful Adelaide Hills.
Andrew is proud of the family's history and maintains the company's Corporate Mission to be 'a dynamic, highly ethical organisation known for its unmatched level of excellence in service.'
"It has never been my desire to be the largest Real Estate establishment in the industry, rather to be the best; operating with integrity and unparalleled excellence every step of the way." Andrew Adcock
